Aga “Dragon” Nazaruk

More ninja than dragon, Aga is the founder of The Movement Athlete, which includes the Bodyweight Training Arena and Calisthenics Academy brands. When Aga’s not bouncing off walls, buildings, and railings she’s hard at work with her team building an awesome new app to change how we think about fitness.
In the past Aga has founded a number of companies including an IoT green-tech company which raised over $150k on Kickstarter, a high growth marketing agency, a successful non-profit in NZ. She presold $250k worth of products.
She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and trains startups in product creation, presales and marketing in multiple accelerators including Google Launchpad in London and San Francisco. In her free time, she trains calisthenics & acrobatics, travels the world, and shares her lessons on her personal blog sheisonfire.com
Amar “Goose” Ghose

The ultimate wingman (think Top Gun) Amar is CEO of ZenMaid, a scheduling software for maid services. He specialises in a wide variety of marketing and sales topics. As the non-technical founder of a software company Amar has handled virtually every aspect of the business outside of the coding and accounting.
Amar can help you with content marketing, LinkedIn marketing, and sales, all of which he’s spoken about internationally, including at Global Silicon Valley.
He moved out of Palo Alto, CA in April 2015 and has been traveling the world since.

Logan “Kiwi” Elliott

Always the life of the party, Logan is the founder of 4 (FOUR!) businesses including a tech company, festival retreat business, a New Zealand premiere creative entertainment company (Highly Flammable) and a coaching company.
Since graduating with a Masters in entrepreneurship our lead organiser has given lectures, facilitated workshops, and managed awesome events (like this one!), all while traveling the world and having a blast.
He can help you with a wide variety of business challenges, but being able to breath fire (literally) on your competitors is probably the most useful skill he teachs.

What August had to say about our workshops:
I loved them, I wish we could do more of them. I had a few presentations I made, and was excited to give them. with so many people I think it would be nice to ask everyone to present one thing or hold one workshop, and if multiple people have expertise, and want to share about a topic, rolling it out into a panel, and having the co-presenters organize before hand. Presentation skills are usually pretty important to starting a company, so practicing while also sharing valuable skills is so win win.

We are bringing a highly curated community of badass entrepreneurs. The movers and shared, the doors and executors who just like us are on the journey of entreprenuership. It’s really importantg for us that this small tight community bring quality people who are hungry to grow and hungry for adventures. Apply!
Will I have access to stable internet/WIFI?
We will have WiFi at our accommodation. In addition there are various nearby cafes (2-5min walk) that also have WIFI. Note Bali internet can sometimes be unstable, but mostly we haven’t had trouble with it.
We strongly recommend you have your own data capable device such as a data card or local SIM card and reduce your reliance on a constant internet connection for the 7 days (also reduce your needs to record podcasts, upload content, have video skype calls).
Is travel included?
No, you need to get to Bali (fly into Denpasar Airport) and then from the airport to our accomodation at Ubud township (takes about 40-60 minutes and costs around 15-25 US per carload depending on your negotiation skills) Uber is also now available if you have a local sim. For flights we suggest you check out adioso.com for flights from other parts of the world.
What is the shared accommodation like?
We are staying in several basic dorms with shared bathrooms and connected lounge areas. Each room has 2-4 beds so you will be sharing with others. Shared accommodation enables us to keep this retreat affordable for you to attend. We can discuss private options if this is something you would like (extra cost).
